The world of online marketing is rapidly changing and increasingly complex. Technology advances and newer platforms rise in an infinite possible way allowing people to interact online at a global level.

Cross border e-commerce has the potential to increase market access for producers and increase choice for consumers, but it can be difficult for consumers to trust websites.

There are many ways to improve  foreign customer experience that will generally increase customer confidence,  build loyalty and ultimately generate more international sales. Many ways to build confidence of digital customers when going global online

In the course, we review how to enhance website experience, for instance through an improved checkout process,  raise confidence through great customer service and customer reviews, create greater proximity having a local phone number,  or publishing amazing content for your international expansion. Offering the right means of payments will affect positively confidence of international customers.

One way to increase the trust that consumers have when purchasing online are trustmarks. According to a recent survey, 70% of consumers felt that a trustmark would have a positive impact on their trust for an online store.

Trustmarks provide a visual indication that not only has a third-party verified the online store, but that the store itself has gone to the effort to prioritise gaining the confidence of potential consumers. Online reviews are one of the fastest ways to gain traction and jump-start sales in a new market. Trustworthy reviews are one of the top five influences on shopping behavior.
