Recent figures show that regarding cross border ecommerce, three quarters of Croatian online customers shop at foreign online stores. This is mainly because of poor quality of online marketing and not a wide range of products in online stores.
About three out of four Croatian online customers (76%) buy a specific range of products in foreign retail stores. According to surveys, long-standing experience of lack of interest in online customers has translated into a lack of confidence in domestic retailers. Nevertheless, the share of online consumers who buy exclusively from domestic retailers is highest among older age groups.
The Web to Go Global Online Course has been created to empower Croatian companies and professionals on how to sell abroad with the web, and hopefully reverse this trend !
What are the course objectives
The Web to Go Global course gives you an in-depth understanding and advanced knowledge of the most important digital marketing steps to go global with the web. It includes real-world projects simulations for gaining experience. You will be using digital marketing tools so that you receive a practical knowledge, that you will be able to use immediately for your online international expansion. After you have completed this 2 day program, you will receive a certificate from RounSpirit stating that you have acquired those skills, and validating your ability to lead international digital projects withitin your organization. You will also benefit from two personalized face to face meetings to ask questions, and for us to give you recommendations about your particular situation, and provide and follow up.

Before the session, we perform a needs assessment. Performing a needs test will help us guide how we will structure the training course.
We use as much hands-on training as possible. We demonstrate and apply teaching points to create greater understanding and knowledge of the subject with examples and exercises.
We involve participants. For example, we ask them to share their experiences with the training topic. Many participants are experienced people who have valuable information to contribute. All trainees will get more out of sessions by hearing about other partciipants experiences with the subject—and not just the trainer’s lecture points.

The Web to Go Global course has been developed by Round Spirit founder, Sam Husson. Sam has been working as an international SEO strategist and consultant for the last ten years, either for large projects or for small companies.
Sam has been helding workshops and masterclasses on ” how to boost your international expansion with the web”, and “how to use social media to go global” for the last 5 years, together with the French Government agency Fomatex, that belongs to Business France. This company provides courses to support the international expansion of French companies.
Sam holds an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK), a diploma in marketing from Skema Business School as well as a master in international business from Icade University (Spain).
